Life Verses: Philippians 2:1-11


Chris Miller was born and raised in the hill country of southeastern Ohio. Chris taught grades 5-7 in his home area of McConnelsville, Ohio for three years before serving as a volunteer at Christian Learning Resource. He then enrolled in the Teacher Apprenticing Program and graduated in 2016. Since then, he has been involved in a variety of interests including regenerative farming, woodworking, and off-grid homesteading.


Julia (Byler) Miller was born in Kenya, Africa. Her family returned to the States in ’95 and she grew up in Middlefield, Ohio, where she graduated from high school. She served in housekeeping at Faith Builders before completing the Christian Ministries program in 2015. She enjoys tea parties and gardening with her children and reads historical nonfiction when possible.


Chris and Julia were married on July 9, 2016, and have five children: Adrielle, Zoey, Hosea, Judah and Jesse. They enjoy spending time outdoors together and socializing with friends and family. They desire to participate in completing the joy of Christ through humble, joyful service to his kingdom.
