Creative Writing

Writing is a craft that improves with practice and feedback, so this course is writing-intensive with time given to sharing and critiquing students’ writing. We explore writing that sparkles and connects meaningfully with readers. Students will take cues from other writers then experiment with their own creativity in various genres, including poetry, short story, allegory, and parody. Some space will be given to ideas for taking this creativity into the classroom.
