Faith Builders has relied on an older TIE-128 phone exchange to support the sixty phones at the school. Between the aging of technology and damage of occasional lightning strikes, this system must be replaced as soon as possible. After evaluating several options for traditional PBX systems, we decided to research and develop an in-house VoIP (voice over internet protocol) phone system. We ask you to consider assisting us in making this new phone system a reality.
We plan to purchase the following phone, Grandstream’s GXP2000 IP Phone, to work with our VoIP gateway. More information about the phone is available on Grandstream’s feature page. We can purchase these phones for $80 apiece.
We need 20 phones to complete Phase I, the rollout to administrative staff and instructors throughout the building. We will then conduct extensive testing, extend our wired network into the dormitory areas, and complete the deployment with approximately 60 additional phones. We hope to complete the project for under $20,000 total. This undercuts any received proposal from phone system retailers by $6,000 – 10,000. This choice also gives us the flexibility of extending and improving the system as the school has need.
Right now we need to purchase twenty phones. If God lays this need on your heart, please consider buying all or part of a phone to complete this important project.
