Our sincere thanks goes to the Crystal View Youth Group for their diligence and enthusiasm! 

This group of young people and several couples from Elmira, Ontario, worked inside and around Faith Builders’ facility Friday through Monday, October 6-9.  They accomplished so much in very short order!

Our sympathies go to the families and victims in the recent school shooting in Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania.  We invite you to join us in prayer that the injured girls would recover, that the school children would find comfort in God, and that a powerful testimony to the power of Christ’s love would be seen and heard.  Such moments are, as Thomas Paine wrote many years ago, the times that try men’s souls.

The FBCS high-school ecconomics students just began participating in a project called Where’s George?.  People enter bills of any denomination up to $100 at www.wheresgeorge.com and then track those bills as they migrate across the United States or Canada.  Please consider helping us and the project in the following ways:

1. If you see a bill marked with www.wheresgeorge.com, browse to that website and enter its denomination, series number, and serial number.  Instructions on the website are helpful in finding this information.  We will be tracking the longest travel distance of any bill.
2. Parents can work with their high-school students by allowing them to mark cash bills before spending them.  Please note the limitations imposed by www.wheresgeorge.com (in FAQs) before marking large quantities of bills.
3. Join the project yourself!  Anyone who signs up and participates will increase awareness of this project and the likelihood of additional hits in faraway places.
