FB’s Teachers Week 2006 was a great success, thanks to the wonderful support of fine people who contributed to the visible and less-visible organization of the week.
We would like to recognize the Teachers Week Committee, a non-FB group that plans and executes the Teachers Week agenda. The committee is chaired by Howard Bean and also includes Anthony Hurst, Gerald Miller and Jonas Sauder.
Our efficient secretary Mary Sue Zehr again did a wonderful job at arranging lodging & registering the nearly 200 teachers who came for the week. She also oversaw kitchen organization and housing for the event. William Miller and Leon Troyer assisted in the physical setup for the week along with the Wilbur and Gladys Graybill family. Mark Nisly was responsible for recording, and Malinda Eberly took care of cleaning and maintaining the facilities. Thank you so much for your contributions!
We also thank the community for graciously hosting some of our guests for the week.
Main Sessions, this one led by Paul Stutzman
Practical workshops, first by Esther Bean and second by Joshua Porter
Summer Term is over for 2006, and we will try to post an album of photos in the near future. Until then, here’s a photo of the group that attended/taught/supported Summer Term 2006.
Teachers Week is just beginning at FB! Welcome to the 200+ teachers who have descended on the small village of Guys Mills, Pennsylvania.
The schedule for Teachers Week 2006 is available as a download here.
