Mennonite School Services (a division of Faith Builders Resource Group) is planning a weekend retreat for school administrators in March 2010.  This retreat will provide opportunities for school administrators to develop connections with other school administrators and to grow as administrators.  If you are interested in attending this retreat or wish to talk with someone about the weekend, please contact us.  More information will be published in the winter newsletter and posted to the blog.  This event will replace the March workshop for 2010.

Join us for a weekend of enrichment for married couples!

Faith Builders is offering a marriage seminar titled “Becoming One” on Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, 2009, at Faith Builders Educational Programs in Guys Mills. John Coblentz, Sr, is the featured speaker for this weekend event. Along with two breakout sessions, topics include the following:

• Roles in Marriage
• Setting Goals
• Head Level/Heart Level Communication
• Listening
• Talking about Differences
• Building Friendship in Marriage

Saturday evening is kept open to provide an opportunity for couples to spend time together. We encourage couples to plan a date away from Faith Builders for the evening. We will provide a list of restaurants and possible activities to help in your planning. An evening meal will be served for those who choose to eat at Faith Builders. Couples who wish to eat at Faith Builders should indicate that when registering.

If you would like to attend this seminar, please register by March 15, 2009. Call (814) 789-4518  to register for this weekend. Registration is also available online. Attendance at this seminar is limited, and lodging at Faith Builders is also limited. A list of local motels is available from the office. A freewill offering will be taken to cover the expenses of the weekend including speaker fees, food, and lodging.

Are you looking for ways to strengthen your marriage and deepen your relationship with your spouse?  Faith Builders is offering a weekend of teaching and interaction with other couples designed to encourage and support married couples.  Teaching sessions will alternate with times of small group interaction as couples.  Plan now to include this weekend in your spring schedule!

You are invited to join us for this seminar to be held on March 29-30, 2008, at Faith Builders Educational Programs in Guys Mills, PA.  John Coblentz, Sr. will be the speaker throughout the weekend.  Attendance is limited to 175 participants.  Anyone who plans to attend all or part of the seminar should register by calling 814-789-4518, ext. 301 or 363.  Your registration will help us to plan for meals and other accommodations.  On-campus lodging is limited and will be reserved for early registrants.  There is no charge for the seminar, but a free-will offering will be taken to help cover expenses of the weekend.

We regretfully announce that Faith Builders’ planned March Workshops 2006 on “Discipleship at FB” are canceled. Deaths in two communities during the last week caused a conflict in commitments for several speakers and those who wished to attend.

We are already contacting every person who registered for the event with this news. If you know someone who planned to attend but had not registered, please communicate this news.

We would appreciate prayer for the families of the bereaved and those traveling to funerals over this weekend. We valued the interest in the topic of discipleship, and we may offer a future consideration of this program.
